Design leader with a track record of driving impactful solutions in high-risk areas, including civic integrity, AI risks, identity verification, support, and regulatory compliance. I am passionate about balancing business needs with social responsibility.

Once dreaming of being a philosopher or a chef, I fell in love with Design in Milan. My journey led me through startup incubators, design agencies, and post-graduate research on cognitive disfluency in Italy and Ireland, before I settled in London.

Over the past 7+ years at Meta, I have grown into a leader rooted in responsible design. I began by creating Facebook's tools for content moderation appeals and anti-harassment. Later, I designed one of the world’s largest identity verification platforms, safeguarding election integrity and tackling themes like pseudonymity, regional differences in identity and accountability in the Metaverse.

As a founding member of the Meta Support organization, I led AI for Support, scaling conversational products from zero-to-one into a global system serving billions across Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook.

Currently, I lead our transition to an AI-fluent ecosystem, setting new standards for safe and equitable products at scale.

Beyond product strategy, I am deeply invested in fostering a strong craft culture, actively building peer communities, driving organization-wide AI literacy, and anchoring teams in inclusive design principles.
